Wow, these are getting complex!

And I love it! These are 4 more of the 6" blocks from the Paducah Double Wedding Ring Sampler. Each one getting more complicated! The bottom one on the right is all 1" finished pieces. Imagine matching seams and corners! But I really enjoy doing it. That one is number 25 and there are a total of 36---I just wonder what that last one is like!!

Lovely blocks!

I love sampler quilts, and looks like your up to the challenge of blocks getting more complex.
wow, beautiful work so far. i can't wait to see the next blocks. please show us.
nicely done
Very nice blocks!
They all look perfect. Your work is always so precise. I enjoy seeing your 6" blocks.
For a lot of the complex patterns, I use freezer paper for paper piecing even though only for a few of the pieces. Whoever gets this one for a community quilt will ever know what fun it was!! (But then I probably could make another in 5 to 10 years!!)

lynnie, I've done 23 of the 35 so far and do them pretty much in order. Sorry I haven't shown more, although I did show 4 in another post. Thanks for your interest!
Nice looking blocks. I really like the one on the bottom right.
A lot of pieces in this one.:thumbup: |
Great job Kitsie, your piecing looks perfect. I’m not into all those tiny pieces after I did Jen Kingwell’s Long Time Gone but I’m happy to hear you are enjoying your sampler experience.
Oh, "sew" pretty! You do very nice piecing.
Beautiful work.
They are lovely blocks. You stitching is very nice. Colors are complimentary.

Beautiful blocks

These are lovely and so well done! Do you press seams to the side or open on these intricate ones? I've been working on the 365 Challenge quilt...lots of 3" blocks and several 6" blocks. What I've learned is to press the seams open rather than to the side. So much flatter.

Beautiful blocks

Very nice blocks and you are doing a beautiful job on making them. It seems you are meeting the challenge with open arms and doing a fantastic job on each block
You should like it!! You are the friend that led me to it!! And I bless you for it!
Yes, oksewglad, I do almost 100% pressing seams open on all my projects and use home made bestpress made with vodka.
Love the two on the right. You're doing such a nice job. Have fun.
Beautiful blocks and wonderful piecing!
