Some of the points are less than perfect, but I like the colors. I made it larger than normal. I wanted to see if I can get away with making less of them. If I do a 3 x 3 with sashing and a border it may be about 60 inches.

Where? I don't see it!

Marcia 10-10-2008 06:46 PM

Beautiful pattern-I have never seen that block before. I love your fabric choice too. The blue is gorgeous! I see your mistake-but it should be a very easy one to fix. At least it is on the edge and not in the center!!

Boston1954 10-10-2008 08:29 PM

In the upper right corner, one triangle is facing the wrong way.

An earlier poster wanted to know the name of the fabric. I just looked and there is no selvage on it. My sister gave it to me and I do not know where it came from. So sorry.

I love this pattern. How big is the block?

Boston1954 10-11-2008 09:56 AM

I made the pieces 3 1/2 inches so that the block is about 20 inches.

Quilt4u 10-11-2008 10:06 AM

Love it. Great job.

It has been fixed. See the difference? I could not bear to let it stay like that knowing I could do better.

Quilts from the Heart 10-11-2008 10:27 AM

Don't rip it. See how many people who look at you finished quilt in awe will even notice. And if they do, say,"Now one's perfect." And then in a nice way, suggest that they get a life.

Vicky Navarre 10-11-2008 12:30 PM

The fabrics are beautiful...I especially like the green, my favorite color! You have an eye for choosing fabrics, the quilt will be fantatic...my birthday is coming up :!:

My daughter wants a patriotic quilt -- red, off white and blue in a king size as big as I can get quilted. This might be the pattern and if the blocks are 20" -- it could be fairly fast....thanks :!:

Dodie 10-11-2008 03:30 PM

that will make a very pretty quilt show us when finished and your mistake won't be hard to fix

Celeste 10-11-2008 03:34 PM

Very pretty! I love the colors too, but the green is my favorite! :D

Boston1954 10-11-2008 05:05 PM
