I opened the thread and immediately had to show my husband what a beautiful quilt! I love your border treatment.

I love that pattern. Had plans on making one for myself. Of course, I have a long list of the ones I want to make. Maybe I will get to doing it one of these days.

And please do tell, what did the think of the bumblebee applique you did on the back? Did they laugh?

Ah yes they chuckled ;)>> and thought that was very clever.. I am sure they will be reminded of the story each day when they make the bed. I can't wait to see a picture of it in their newly painted bedroom... they leave tomorrow. I have seen some pictures and the wall behind the bed is a beautiful brown and the others a wonderful warm yellow so should be spectacular. The girls in my sewing group at the store saw it yesterday and loved it too.
