Yellow and Grey WallHanging
 

Finished this wall hanging today. We just re-did our living room in yellow and grey, so did this as an accent piece.

The more I look at it the more I like it! the way you arranged the colors and gray values gives it a lot of interesting movement and your quilting further reinforces that effect. The density of the quilting and the differences in the grays make it very rich looking, and the pops of yellow add an element of fun. It also has lots of visual texture which reminds me of some of my favorite graphite and charcoal drawings. Good job!

Thanks, all. I did a double layer of Warm and Natural to get lots of definition in the quilting.

I started with a 9" square, sewed rights sides together all the way around, then cut diagonally to make four half square triangles. (Careful with the bias edges!).
I finished it with mitered corners and a facing rather than a binding to make it more of an art quilt.
