dsb38327 04-26-2010 03:12 PM

Oh,,,,, I can't tell you how much I like this. !!!!!!!!Those colors could live at my house forever. So tranquil.
What a treasure. Now that you have it out, you can enjoy it. It is fabulous. It is amazing they are just small blocks and the colors are creating the design. Oh, I like it. (Did I say that already?).

Eddie 04-26-2010 03:13 PM

i must see something different, there's just something i don't like about it, not sure what......i think it needs to blend better, the center looks like it has spots! this may be one for the seam ripper!

sniff.............I think its too pretty to take apart. This really sings to me!

GrannyW5 04-26-2010 04:14 PM

Very nice, I would keep going on it for a big quilt

barnbum 04-26-2010 04:29 PM

If you don't want to go bigger--it'd make a delightful table topper--it says country cottage!

danmar 04-26-2010 05:03 PM

Very, very pretty! I love yellow. It is so happy and cheerful.

Melody 04-26-2010 05:09 PM

I truly love yellow! My next project is going to be with some dainty flowers in pale yellow.... I just bought the fabric and I'm itching to get it cut.

I think your UFO is worth finishing. It's definitely cottage style. I really like it.

bevannthomas 04-27-2010 06:25 AM

This is really nice. I love that yellow and just how those colors go together.

Ditter43 04-27-2010 06:38 AM

Gee I hear it saying ALASKA COUNRTY COTTAGE  I think it is beautiful. I love yellow though, it is in my bedroom and in my dining room. I have made quilts I did not care for too and they are difficult to finish. Been there done that. Ummm how about flowers appliqued on top in the same fabric you said looks like spots. Sometimes if you use what you don't like you actually cover it up. Am I making any sence?

dsb38327 04-27-2010 07:58 AM

I counted
16 "yes" for preserving this beautiful quilt as it is.
My I offer a suggestion? Finish it in the pattern you have it in now. Count the compliments you get on it and give it to one of those people for Christmas. (I will give you my address anytime you want it).

Farmer Girl 04-27-2010 08:22 AM

Please keep going on it! It really catches my eye :D :D

wvdek 04-27-2010 08:33 AM

I think it is lovely. Very homey and comfy looking. Finish it and use it on cool summer eves.

belmer 04-27-2010 11:03 AM

Wonderful colors. Why did you wait so long to finish it?, This is going to be a beautiful quilt when it's all done.

quiltluvr 04-27-2010 11:40 AM

I agree, if you have it in you, finish it. It needs no changes whatsoever, IMHO.

Quilt Mom 04-27-2010 12:28 PM

If you really want to be rid of your UFO, I will give it a home any day!!! I love the yellows, and think you have done a wonderful job. No need to finish it. I'll do that!

ann clare 04-27-2010 02:18 PM

beautiful colors, beautiful work

QuiltQtrs 04-27-2010 02:40 PM

With all our UFO's, why not create a "Fire Sale" category and put them up for
members to buy?

gramadona 04-27-2010 05:36 PM

That's a lovely quilt!
Please finish it and consider it
a gift for someone at Christmas
when the weather is gloomy.
Yellow is such a happy color,
it's sure to bring sunshine
to some lucky person.

KarenSimon 04-27-2010 09:26 PM

Oh Yummy. Looks like a REAL find.

Pickles 04-27-2010 10:01 PM

This quilt is beautiful, the perfect colors used in perfect
order that makes it stunning, please finish it it is way to nice to
not do so, just my opinion :-D

Zephyr 04-28-2010 05:29 AM

Some times I'm working on a quilt top that just doesn't "talk" to me, but I've found that if I put a couple of borders on that I can tie the whole theme together. Wah Lah, I like! I love yellow and like yours also.

Sheree from Chicago 04-28-2010 03:11 PM

It looks very antique or vintage. Nice!

littlehud 04-29-2010 07:30 PM

That's pretty. Please make it a finished quilt. :-D

Oklahoma Suzie 05-05-2010 01:09 PM
