Yorklands Jail Farm
1 Attachment(s)
This piece shows a portion of the stonework and water channels all assembled by hand during the early and mid 1900's when the several hundred acres were home to a Jail Farm. SInce it's decommission many years ago the province and the city have been struggling for development rights. A dedicated group is trying to preserve as much of the natural areas as possible. The photo was shot by a friend and member of the group and this piece is now donated to them for their use or auction.
