Isn't it amazing how the boxes of squares came to you and then the girls. Doesn't it make you feel good to know you were the right person in the right place to help them. How fulfilling that must be.

They did a wonderful job. I think that being with a nurturing person while their mother is away is very healthy for them. I am so glad that you have the heart to be with them and that you are showing them the art of quilting. Blessed be.

I know how much fun this was! I was lucky to have my 12 year old DGD with me this summer. There will be more skilled quilters in the next generation. The girls are so pretty and so is their quilt.Good work, all of you!:thumbup:

Excellent idea and great way to arrange the different sized squares. The girls look quite pleased. I bet their mom is pleased too. And to think they made a nice dent in the box of squares, too. Careful or they might want to raid your regular stash as well.

Great job, you ha e yourself some junior quilters there.

Bless you for doing this project with the girls! They are learning life skills and having fun at the same time!
You 3 must have some interesting sewing sessions!! :) |
This is fabulous of you to do for those girls. They are making lifetime memories. How about a little lesson on embroidery also and they can put their names and year made on the back??
