So, since there is so much wisdom out there - help me out please!! The closest i've come is Seven Sisters...Is this just a variation of that?? a block.... Quilt in progress - you get the idea... let me brag - but don't those points & Y-seams look great???? |

Texas Star I really like this pattern and have not done it because it is a lot of work, set in seams. Very nice!

According to my Kansas City Star Quilt Pattern Collection
it is a 6 pointed star. There are lots of variations of this block. Many different names. Hope this helps |
I did look there (couldn't remember if that was one of the places or not  ) And i looked thru all of their pages!!
I have googled star quilts, vintage quilts, 6 pointed star quilts, quilt patterns using 60 degree diamonds, quilts w/ diamond shapes...... sigh - running out of ideas...but it's also possible that maybe the one that was hanging in that quilt store was one that someone created using their own creativity. I like to put the name of the quilt on the label when i get to that point! |
Don't know the name but sure is cute. And yes your "Y" seems and points are perfect. Great job.
