I like the lasso border too, I think it softens the rest of the quilt.

I think the beige border really makes the blue one frame the whole pc. Such a cute quilt

I would keep the blue border and add a red one. Kids like color!!! And so do I. :wink:

I would like to see a red border wider the the blue added. If this is baby quilt which will get used and carried around the cream will show soil very quickly. Karen K.

I vote lasso too....I loved that fabric with the kids...I used it for some pot holders for a family reunion. They were a hit!

I'm in the minority here, I guess :( I don't care for the lasso fabric as the border. I think a child's quilt should have "color" and to me the lasso fabric "dulls" the look of the quilt. I like the blue and would stop there and add a red bandanna binding. That's just me, though.
