Your blocks are beautiful....can't wait to see if you decide to use sashing or not....either way, you have a winner! Great job....inspires me!

I think it would be especially striking with black sashing.

Thank you ladies will keep going. And will post a picture of the final product. Hope we all live that long. lol.
And I will rearrange the colors. My hubbie knocked them off and replaced them when he got ready to take the picture for me. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I like it very much!

I think they look awesome.

I think if they were set on point with a thin verdiges green/blue they would look like a stained glass window. I love the batiks you have used for the blocks.

Sashing would be great. Either in the tan from the center, or in black. Very pretty so far!!

DoxieMom 11-20-2010 10:21 AM

I'd keep going. The blocks are pretty! I like the idea of black bias tape or narrow black sashing...

Do these 10 minute blocks look ok or should I stop and start something else? Should I put sashing between the blocks or just sew them together. I am using batiks. Thanks in advance for comments.

Looks good as is. How about trying to lay out some black bias tape and see if a "stained glass" effect is what you want.
