I am making a quilt for my sister and want to make it in a crazy quilt style. I have 4 x 6 patches of old canning labels that I want to use in several squares. A crazy quilt will be a more random type of design or I could do something more geometric based on the rectangle shapes. What do you think? You can download the file of samples by pushing download.

I think the geometric layout would work best for he canning labels

I think the crazy block would detract the eye from the label. I vote for the geometric.

Either one - nice idea and I truly think either one will work and look very nice...be sure to post the finished quilt!!

I'm liking the geometric layout the best. But if your background crazy fabrics were not too loud so as not to detract of the labels, that would look nice too.
