I like the ornaments one. It's different! They are both so cute! Nice work! Could you make snowmen or animals using the yo-yos, maybe adding eyes and shifting the center gathered circle for the mouth? Make little yo-yos foe feet, or use regular size for the feet, and make the critter bigger by using more yo-yos.

I have a ornament made like your yo yo tree that a friend sent to me. Except it has a cinnamon stick glued onto the back for the trunk. I thought about making some of those.

I love your ideas on the cards.

butterflies5518 08-04-2011 06:37 PM

These are cute and I love yo-yo's. Guess I will have to do some in Christmas fabric now.

Gladys 08-04-2011 07:09 PM

luckylindy333 08-04-2011 07:18 PM

I am thinking about making yo-yo ornaments for Christmas, too! I saw some that were stacked up, maybe not suitable for cards, though...

jquilts75- I am making iris folding cards for Christmas, too, I just ordered some die cuts yesterday... yours are extraordinary!

JuneBillie 08-05-2011 03:19 AM

Very pretty. Are the yo yo cards made on fabric sewn cards?

Rose Cactus 08-05-2011 08:39 AM

I think all of the cards are too cute! Thanks for the ideas...there is a girl in my quilt group, and we call her the "yoyo queen" as she loves to make them and use them on all of her quilts...I will have to share the yoyo ones with her...I think I would love to try making all of them, as I love them all!
