that is super awesome!! this quilt is on my to do list but it's way, waaaaaay down cause i don't yet have the skill required to do it. good job!

I am a beginner. I started and I did not even know how to cut the fabric with a rotary cutter. I took a class in June at the same time I was taking beginning quilting. Everyone told me that a beginner should not be taking it. I did not see what the problem was. It is very easy. Look up this tute.

Absolutely gorgeous, I always wanted to make one and someday I might. I wuld use the Tute Eddie did on this board, doing by machine would be faster than by hand.

The backing is by machine. The curved parts and the windows are by hand. So, it takes a long time, but it is prettier this way.
That is the way I did mine too. Faster that way...lol
