    Purple Butterfly Quilt Finished

    Thanks for all the suggestions and good ideas I got from y'all! The quilt is finished and gifted to my DD's BFF...she loved it! I am not real happy with the same purple in the sashing as in the blocks...but she loves her quilt and that's what matters. Next time I will know better!

    You picked great colors! And I love how the patchwork is butterfly shaped to go with the theme fabric too!

    the border purple only touches the block's purple on the one side. And it gives it's own unique patterns for the background, yet it blends in so nicely. If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have know to look for it. I love your print fabric
