ooh Cathie, it is a beauty! The green and purple really look great togehter. Love the pattern but have never been brave enough to try it. You say it is a paper piece. Did you buy the pattern, if so where? I think that is the only way I would be brave enough to attempt. Once again you have outdone yourself

Sharon M......The Large star is NOT paper pieced only the smaller ones and the pattern came from the Carol Doak book......it is called Colorado.....Thank you for you comments.....and you can do it too....try a smaller one first....starch the heck out of the fabric before cutting.....that really helped keep the bias together......just go for it.....if all else fails you can use the fabric in a scrappy quilt.....:-)

Just stunning, of course anything with purple is good in my book. The older I get the more I like it. Ruth

Love your quilt. But I am looking behind it at all of your fabric. Do you own a fabric store, it looks as though you have large bolts of so many different fabrics. I have always bee interested in how much fabric someone purchases when they see one they like for future, unknown pattern projects.
