    Purple Spider Webs...Quilted by Charisma

    Hi everyone,
Sandy sent thsi quilt to me for LAQ.
I have always wanted a spider web quilt...this is actually my first time quilting one...I could have quilted webs...but I thought the continuous curve flower was more suitbable for this quilt and Sandy liked it..so I went with it along with overlapping swirls for the fill in work. I am thrilled with the outcome..I just kind of had to stare at it for a minute when I took it off the frame.
Thanks Sandy..You did a wonderful job!
    Blessings to all of you!

Wow, makes me want to piece a spiderweb quilt just so I can copy what you did! I love the wonderful texture on this one, front and back.

Purple as a neutral, great. Your quilting looks so complimentary to it.

Everyone, Charisma is a wonderful person to work with and I can guarantee I will be sending her more to do. The way I quilt, it might be another 3 years before I get one done though. But I love how this turned out. Reminds me of little puffs of wind blowing through the spider webs. I can't wait to get the binding on. Thanks again, Charisma!

Sandy, you did a great job of designing and putting your quilt together. How fun you made it! Charisma, as always, a wonderful job quilting. You always seem to know how to enhance a project just right. You both did a fantastic job! Love the colors, too.

Me, too! Race you to the scrap pile! I've always wanted to make a spiderweb & this is why... this is beautiful! And the purple really sets the webs off... who knew? And the quilting? My word! It is, as usual, spectacular! Kudos to both of you!

First I love the quilt and second I love the unusual and contemporary way you quilted it. Not a bit of tradition on this one.

I love spider web quilts in general, but I REALLy love this one!!!! Sandy, you did a fantastic job piecing it!! I could not grasp the idea of different patterns for accentuating the unique quilted tops until I joined this board. Thank you all, but especially Charisma, for making me more aware of what CAN be done to bring a quilt to life. I really like the quilting on this one, though I've not seen one done by Charisma that I didn't like!!!!! Great job, both of you!!

Your flower treatment of the web and the curls in the field of purple really sets this spiderweb apart from the many others I have seen. I love Sandy's top and your quilting complements it completely. Thanks for sharing.
The bad news is - time flies.
The good news is - you're the pilot!
