I can testify how common mail theft is in Croatia (Montenegro's "sister") - I have a dear friend there and things always go missing, especially when they're mailed between October and February (early and late Christmas presents). I find that my packages are often left alone when I put the Croatian word for the contents on the Customs form right after the English word(s). That seems to help. I was told that quite frankly, if the parcel is coming from the States, the sender can afford to replace the missing contents - this from a Customs agent from former Yugoslavia.

Enough about Customs - WHAT A GORGEOUS QUILT!!!!! I love, love those purples!
