Interesting...... Yesterday, I went to my very first shop hop and purchased a purse pattern, black fabric with butterflies(very similar to yours) and a contrasting fabric to use as the liner and trim. I'll make the shoulder strap out of the black butterfly fabric. We have something in common...black material with butterflies purse.

You did an excellent job! I love the Vera Bradley purses also but just can't justify the expense of one.

Very pretty. My dd introduced me to homemade bags. I find them very comfortable to use. They certainly are a great deal of work and you did a great job. I love the butterfly fabric.

I had found the fabric and fell in love with it, so of course I bought some. I decided to find a complimenting fabric at the same time, just in case....
Well, it worked out perfectly for the purse. I am usually a ladybug person, but for the purse I really liked the butterflies. It looks like spring to me.
Thanks everyone for checking it out and letting me know I made some good choices for fabric.
