Nice bag. How are the straps put on? I've seen them, they look like leather. Are they sewn on?

The strap has two sets of double holes that I hand sewed to the purse. One set of the oles are under the flower buttons.

Do you remember which shop in St. Louis had that great fabric? I'm heading there (from Jeff City) next week -- would love to have some!! By the way, the purse is adorable!! Great job!

Thank you, Sandygirl, I had not "caught on" that the toile was the focus fabric of the shop hop. I do go to a couple of those shops.
