    QAYG D9P for my son...

I made this for my son's birthday in July using my favorite method, QAYG. It eliminates wrestling with a large quilt when I'm quilting it and it seems to get finished so much quicker.

Its beautiful! I like QAYG method too. I like how fast it goes together and the satisfaction of it being completed in the end. Thanks for sharing your photo's.

My son loves it and it'll be nice for him this winter.

My finished strips are 2" wide, front and back. The batting is 1". I cut my backing strips 2 1/2" and my front strips 4 1/2" (this is ironed in half, wrong sides together).

There is a great tutorial for using this method on: http://www.thequiltingedge.com/
