I love your quilt! I have a layer cake with 42 squares. Can you help me figure out how much more fabric I need to make a full quilt? Maybe just tell me what you used and how big the quilt is? Sorry, I am a novice.😬

Phoebe, I made this quite a while ago and had to get out my tape measure to check...57 1/2 in. square quilt is how mine turned out. I used a layer cake and some cream colored yardage (I don't recall how much) as I had it in my "stash" fabric cupboard. So, I was thinking if you needed it to be larger, you might want to to use extra yardage too, and incorporate it into your blocks as you go to make your layer cake stretch father. Then you could make as more more blocks as you need to get the finished size you're going for. Be sure to show us your finished quilt!

Very nice! Glad you shared. Quarter log cabin is on my short list and it’s helpful to see your beautiful work. The colors are so pretty!
