Default Dewnet Colored Pencils -What would you do?

Hi,
I just purchased a new sewing machine, the brother dreamweaver xe. I also bought some dewent colored pencils, and did these two picures on muslin. The first time I've ever used the pencils. I really like them. I planned on using my new machine to place a frame around them, but haven't figured out how to enlarge the frames yet. So, that idea went out the window. Any ideas how to use these blocks in a quilt. I plan on doing more, featuring victorian bonnets. Would you try to quilt in the drawings? How would you do it,or what would you do. Your ideas and help would be appreciated..Thanks

Very nice. You did a good job.
The Derwent pencils are nice. Berol Prismacolors are good ones too.

It seems to me that you are wanting to know if you would quilt your drawings and how to quilt them if you did. I would do some quilting around the drawings but not on them Make a sample and try this will let you know what it would do before you actually do your masterpieces.

I love them, are they traced or are you that good! I would not quilt over the faces, maybe stippling or echoing?

Very pretty. I wouldn't quilt inside the drawings except perhaps to outline the hats and the faces. So the only quilting "in" the drawings would be where the hat is over the forehead.

If choosing to quilt on the beautiful drawings I would use a very fine thread just to highlight maybe the hair, hat and outline face if they are small blocks. Your drawings will make a fabulous quilt!
