Please dont let it become a UFO. My thought would be to connect the border with the body of the quilt somehow. maybe extend a few of the rails, applique a few leaves and gold flowers, quilt it all in gold? I'm sure you will come up with your own creative answer.

I think the colors are great. Add a yellow binding after it's quilted and you'll love it! Looks like you did a great job with the serger.

Well, I'm glad I read that you are going to take everyone's advice and finish it. I really like the colors. Be sure to show us the finished quilt and if you have a change of heart.

I like it and obviously so do many others! I'll bet using a serger to piece a quilt top makes the seams much stronger. I used mine for a flannel quilt that was just simple squares sewn together to prevent them from fraying. Worked well but used a lot of thread!

please finish it. If ,then you still dont like it ,donate it to a local school or nursing home to be raffled off.I know alot of people would love to own it.To cut it up would just not be right after all that work.Sometimes I make things and wonder why I chose to use things as I did, but others see the beauty in it.

Wow, what's not to like? I think once it's quilted you'll feel differently..I get those same feelings about my quilts sometimes after I've been working on them for a while, but it always helps to get some positive feedback!
