This is how I double my design wall space. I have the standard design wall of foam insulation board, mine is covered with a product called "Block Butler" a 72" X 72" sticky fabric. It's amazing and if it ever starts losing the sticky ability, you just spritz it with water! Then over that I hang the sheet on the rod for a second design wall.

Happy Quiting!

I love the idea of the commercially made vanishing design wall but don't like a few things about them - - price, shipping charge and, most importantly, size. I would be willing to pay the price but think S$H is way too high. Would like to go to a show where they are demo'ing so I could avoid S$H. However, the design portion is only 54" wide so could only use it for small items or a portion of your larger quilt.

I would love to hear from those of you who have purchased one, how large of a quilt did you use it for, what is your opinion of it after using it for awhile. particularly, does it conveniently roll up and down with blocks on it.

If you've made your own vanishing design wall, how large of a shade did you use and how is it working for you?

Thanks for getting this topic stRted again, Crafty Bear.
