Quick Log Cabin
#1
This started with black 2 inch squares. I cut strips 2 1/2 inches wide and about 3 yards long of each color. I would sew all the black blocks to the first strip then cut them apart. Turn the block and start with the next color strip and sew on. I did have to hang an example in front of me to keep me on track some times. It took me about 3 hours to cut it out and the piecing was less than a day. Super fast way to roll with a log cabin.

Greens - I love greens. I bet all greens from deep forest to the softest lightest mint would be gorgeous. Log cabins can be laid and twisted in so many directions that there are dozens of patterns you could come up with. Now you have me thinking.
