LOL! What would you say if I told you I also have an 18-month old?!? They're all in bed by 8, so I sew at night. I can do handwork around them too - IF I'm really careful with keeping my tools out of reach, and they're otherwise distracted by a game or coloring - they're pretty used to seeing mommy working on something pretty much all the time!

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments! They love their new quilts - especially my daughter. She is crazy for her fairy ballerinas.

What did you use for the back? I am making my granddaughter a quilt and using a fleece or microfleese blanket from Target for the back, soft and fuzzy. It cost 19 for a queen size blanket. I will have to cut it down and maybe make a few pillows to go with it. Linda
