Default Quilt Bag

Every time I have a new quilt to show at quilt club it ends up going in a trash bag because none of my tote bags will hold a queen size quilt. The trash bag is a little sad compared to the pretty bags everyone else has, so I decided to try my hand at a cool bag.

This has all the fancy stitches on my machine done in wild colored thread left over from machine applique projects along with a little couching just for fun. If I ever make another one it will have some stiff interfacing in it. This one is a bit wimpy when empty.

Nice bag! Beats my big bag made from an old pair of curtains.

I buy the large bags at the check-out at Home Goods or TJ Max to carry my quilts in. I also use
them when I'm gifting a quilt. They are a heavy plastic, and only cost .99! Your bag is beautiful
though -- I just don't have the time to make a bag.
