made this bear out of an old mink coat...recycling high class...

Now that is just wayyyy too cute!! What an adorable little guy! Makes me want to go to Goodwill in search of fur for sure!!

thanks so much for all the compliments..this was the first time i worked with 'real' fur. i got the job from a friend of a friend...it was the ladies' moms' coat and she wanted for her grand-daughter..lucky kid, i would say. she was really pleased with it.

My mother has offered me her old mink coat and she even mentioned that she knew I would probably turn it into a teddy bear. Is the real fur similiar to working with the fake fur?
