These placemats are so easy. The design comes from the book "Happy Holidays To You" by Nancy Halvorsen . I am going to make some more this Christmas for my friend's grands. I used scraps for mine. Carol

Do you know "How much envy you guys that applicate"! Beautiful and well done.

Me applicating is almost as bad as ME knitting, etc. All thumbs. Never turns out the way I want or good enough for me.

I have a GGS that turned 3 in March and he would love this quilt too. It's so neat to sew for little ones isn't it? My GGS loves dinasaurs (sp?), but I can't find any pattern for them.

Everything is so pretty.

Hi everyone..thank you for the kind comments about my quilts. The Santa pattern comes from an " Art to Heart " quilt book ' Happy Holidays To You ' #522B by Nancy Halvorsen, it is full of great things to quilt for the Holidays. The little car is from a pattern I no longer have but I made a plastic template from it that I use often. It would be easy for someone to draw their own template. I find that a good place to find kid's designs is coloring books. Lots of dinosaurs, kitties, fish, puppies, etc. Hope this helps anyone looking for these types of patterns as that is what I often do. Carol
