A friend of mine sent a quilt to her grandson across the country and it didn't show up for 6 weeks, and they all thought it was lost, but it DID finally arrive at its destination!!

That is heart breaking for you. A lovely quilt. Good to post it here as you never know. Someone may come across it.

I had delivery confirmation but my quilt sent to Momence, IL went to Hawaii. Never for got that missing. I went into the main office customer service....they pretended to call Hawaii, am sure the empty box was sent after the gift was removed! but I cannot prove it. It was tracked....many times during its journey. no recourse.
Now I insure all packages, and use signature confirmation. I also send an e-mail or phone to make sure the package is expected.
