Default quilt I made for RN at hospice

There is a dear RN at the hospice I volunteer that needs a lift. A few months ago her husband of 27 years came home and told her he didn't love her anymore and wanted a divorce. She was shocked and truly heart broken. She didn't think anything was wrong with her marriage.

Last week she moved into her new home with her dog. Their house was sold after 27 years. double heartache. Her daughters are in college out of state so its just her and her dog. Of course the girls will be home for christmas but still she's so depressed. her divorce is know final.

Thought I would share a picture of the quilt. I 'm including a card that says: When you are feeling low and need a hug, wrap the quilt tightly around you. Close your eyes and imagine all your many friends are there hugging you. love and prayers Debbie

Beautiful quilt and so thoughtful of you to make it for her. She will love it! Nice sentiment for the card, too.

What a sad story! Hope you got her a voodoo doll too. Seriously, it's a lovely quilt and you're a thoughtful friend.
