I love it - the fabric and the pattern are great.

Thanks all.
yes, I think I'll add another border.
The thin one is 1 1/2, then the blue one is 3 3/4 (finished sizes), so I think maybe I'll cut 6 inch border for it.
Wait til I post the backing fabric. I found 2 different ones and they are both really pretty. Just torn as to which one to use.

I think you did a great job on this quilt and sooooo fast. It's nice that you can come through for the CO and his wife (and your DH :)).
Looking for the final quilt--I know it'll look great with the rust and blue.

What a wonderful quilt! Great Fabrics. Can I vote here for the

rolling hills backing? It's just perfect!

Love all the fabrics - and the whirlygig stars. Beautiful patriotic top! The rust fabric in the border is REALLY a nice touch.

Does anyone have a link to the directions on this one? I saw it yesterday and meant to bookmark it. I guess I didn't.

Thanks!

this originated with amma.

so, we all have to chase her down and threaten to take away her stash if she doesn't post the directions again. have you noticed that she's had nothing to say on this topic?

Thanks!
Amma had to rework it as the file was too large . She has promised to repost as soon as she made the file smaller
