I love the carpenter's star, and yours is lovely! I grew up with a long-haired tuxedo cat named hot rod! Hope he lives to a grand old age as ours did! Oh, yes, he was every bit as determined as yours 8-)

Hot Rod brings to mind my Louis cat. He is gone to kitty heaven now but was the same colors and pattern. He was frequently a beautiful addition to my quilting efforts. I like the simplicity of your quilt. No gee-gahs or fluff. Just clean clear quilt that shows off the pattern brilliantly.

Another cat named Hot Rod, how neat! He is 8 so far, and most of my cats have lived into their twenties, so I am hopeful that he has a long life ahead of him yet....a lot of quilts to inspect yet.

Hot Rod is simply "protecting" your quilt lest someone attempt to walk over it (the horror)! He is adorable and your quilt is lovely. The colors are so simple they offer a big impact. Love the purple one too... I am another purple freak!

Your colors are special and that inspector knows a pretty place to play when he sees one

Hot Rod was just trying to tell you that he appreciates the work you put into a very beautiful quilt. I've got this quilt on my "Roundtoit" List - for someday. Hot Rod is a beautiful kitty.

That is just beautiful and I think you did a great job.......love your inspector and I don't think the quilt would be complete without his approval. Happy quilting
