Cool A quilt for Loralie Fabrics & Dog Lovers

I totally forgot I had this Designs "Happy Dogs" panel and searched though my stash to find other fabrics to make this bright and fun dog quilt. As with all her fabrics, these dogs are quirky and whimsical. I used black minky on the back.

Cute quilt! I love it! You did a super job! ... But, personal preference, I don't like working with the minky stuff... or the feel of it.

I love the feel of it! For those that do love Minky I have a small trick to make it easier to use with a longarm machine. Before loading it on my longarm I sew/baste a 4" strip of cotton to the top and bottom to make it easier to load/stabilize on the machine. Works great, I have never had an issue with it.
