Really nice t-shirt quilt. I just can't grasp how the rows are put together. Would love to make one like that. Thanks for sharing with us.

She came up with her own design. I don't know how she put it together. Her design is MUCH better than I would have come up with. BTW she did not stabilize the T-shirts. She found somewhere online how to do it without stabilizing. Maybe, when she reads this, she'll put a link up.

I am very proud of her AND very impressed with her talent. I'd say that even if she weren't my kid. Her work is impressive.

A Mother's Day you won't soon forget, it is so nice, full of memories that you share, a real family treasure.

Just got a computer back, so I can go online again. Mine died; DD brought over her old one & hooked it up for me. I was having withdrawals not being able to connect with QB to keep up with all of you.

sash: she used the book "How to Make a Too Cool T-shirt Quilt" by Andrea T. Funk. I believe she found it online. The design is based on a 4" grid so you're able to use different sized blocks. It sounds as if laying it out takes some time, but the results are definitely worth it. DD is very awesome & I am very lucky to have her.
