Default Quilt from men's shirts

Kay made this quilt from men's shirts. She used the shirt button plackets for borders around the outside of the quilt. Kay also made use of shirts by piecing the quilt backing from them. The Nine Patch and Snowball blocks made up very nicely for a man's quilt. We chose Hobbs 80/20 batting and custom quilted it with continuous curve on the nine patch blocks and echo stitching on the snowball blocks

I really like the uniqueness of this quilt. Beautiful work on piecing and stitching. Wonderful memories in that quilt!

OH fabulous quilt and quilting!!! I just found a box of my DH's old, outgrown shirts in the back of his closet and I was thinking of what to do with them! What timing!!!
