My second daughter is having her first baby...due in 8 days! It's a girl and her name is Lily. I made this quilt for her. The woman who quilted it did such a wonderful job. The bears were not quilted and are puffy and stand out.

That's a darling quilt! Did you make up the pattern? I've never seen one with bears peeking out. What a lucky baby....and I love the name Lily too.

Actually I saw the quilt picture somewhere, then my quilting friend and I were looking through her stash and there it was! The pattern for Peekaboo Bears. It was a xerox copy of a typed pattern. I looked up on the web just now and found that a woman designed the quilt for a Quiltmaker magazine contest in 1996. I couldn't find the pattern online though; that was a long time ago!
