This is a quilt I finished recently. I can't take any credit for design, color as it was a kit I purchased at a quilt show. the combination of minky and batik gave my machine fits, but it turned out quite lovely after all was said and done.

I love that quit, esqmommy, especially the colors. And I know what you mean about backing it with a minke or other fluffy fabric. I just made one for my best friend and had fits with binding it! Fortunately she isn't a seamstress or quilter and won't notice the mistakes! LOL.

the number of mistakes are uncountable...the number of starts/stops with the quilting too. After about half of it, the thread began to break. I must have tried a million things to try and make it work. It was very frustrating, but she'll never really see the difference.

Thanks for all the kind words. yes, I agree, my little guy is cute! He's a pistol, but a total cuddle bunny. and the boy loves his mommy!!
