It is not my quilt. I took the picture at a local fair and the woman there did not know the names of the patterns. Some had notes saying who made them and how to contact the owner. Unfortunately the woman would not let any one close enough to get the names. She was only interested in telling you about her quilt. I knew the name of the baskets. And I am sorry I did not say that before. I need to know the name of the triangles in the larger boarder if any one knows I can pass the info on to another dear friend.

I believe the name of the block in the border is a pineapple block.

That exact same block with the triangles slightly offset from each other is in a book I have called "101 Foundation-Pieced Quilt Blocks' by Linda Causee. In her book, the block is called Log Cabin Triangles.
