What a combination of pictures. From a beautiful, cozy quilt to a slithery snake. WOW....Mr Snake certainly had his nerve.

I live in FL. I have had 4 snakes in my home. They were very small but snakes. My cat is a snake charmer. He loves them. The last on was a coral snake that is could do a lot of harm if bitten.

I want to thank all of you for the fun, information and beautiful quilts. One day I will get something I have made and show you. thank you again.

Rpse, I think it's the startle factor with snakes, they are suddenly there. If we never just found them where we didn't expect them to be it wouldn't be so bad. I too am terrified even of the garter snake. My cat will bring them as an offering to "mom". DH is as afraid of snakes as I am.

Nice quilt...I thought that the snake was crawling across a quilt done in blues and thought what lovely colors and how did she get that design??? Then I realized it was a pool. duh!

Where I live snakes, toads, salamanders, turtles are all around. Something about seeing a snake scares the ----- out of me everytime, usually I get the rake and assist them back towards the woods. Love the big blocks for a quick project!

Beautiful quilt and quilting. Sure could have done without that snake, though! :-)

Living in Diamond Back and Copperhead country, I love to see a nice big black snake slithering its way across my yard.

I agree with the masses. Quilt beautiful, snake... eeeek. I hate em too. I was loading some logs left on the property when the ditch rider trimmed the trees, and found a snake all coiled up under a log as I moved it last week. Needless to say, I was out of there, and someone else finished up that job!! YUCK!! I do really love your quilt though! Glad to hear Mr snake didn't slither across it!
