You're giving her a gift no one else can - the ability to have her vision of that quilt realized. That really is a special bond.

You may have noticed, some of us have whole collections of works in progress (WIPs) so if you ever want to do ours, you'll be the most popular kid on the block.

Henry, you are so sweet and your grandma is one blessed lady! I sure hope I am lucky enough to have a grandson (he's due next month) who enjoys quilting since both my girls refuse to get involved in it.

Moonpi - We call them UFO's here (Unfinished Objects) instead of WIPs, but I imagine no matter what you call them we all have at least a few of them. Me, I seem to be collecting UFOs. I'm definitely not the only one since my local guild just created a bee specifically for finishing up UFOs. It's called the UFO Bee and we members all have UFphobia.

She is feeling weak and thinks she has a cold. She almost fell out the door yesterday but she luckily was caught by my great aunt Sara. Her health has been declining in recent years and she is getting more feeble with each passing year.

Grandma's quilt is just beautiful. Wrapping the quilt around her will feel just like a gaint hug. Hope Grandma feels better

What a wonderful grandson you are to do this for her! You did a great job. I hope that when my grandson is grown he thinks I "Rock" !! :D :!:
