Beinga newbie I don't have the foggiest idea of how to quilt it. However, it is a very pretty quilt. I'm sure your mom is going to love it.

I'm also sure that your Mom is going to love it, it is a beautiful quilt. I am still learning myself and really don't have ideas on the quilting part but I am sure many of the more experienced quilters here can help you out with that. :-) Great job!!!

I am lousy at quilting ideas but that is a very beautiful quilt and it looks like it is completely personalized. I think she will absolutely love it.

Very nice! I love the flower block at the bottom. I love wavy cross hatch quilting. Have you ever seen it? I think I would just meander in the sashing, ITD in the blocks, nothing else as it would overpower it. Whatever you choose, it will look great! :D :D

How about an all over pattern of hearts or flowers or leaves or all three. Outlining the flowers and hearts would look good. You could also put a heart or two inside the appliqued hearts. Your quilt is beautiful, and your mom will love it.

I was thinking along that line thought a heart or flower design in the corners of the poem
