Very beautiful. I love your color and fabric print choices. Sets the whole quilt off in a unique way.

What tool do you use to cut the pinwheels.? I am wowed by the whole stack and whack but still can't wrap my head or rather cutter around them. Do you do any 4 patch posies?
Maybe I should just jump in and start whacking on a piece of fabric.

You would have a stack of four squares and then cut them on the diagonal. You could use any double pinwheel pattern. Yes, I think this one would be a good one to start on, if you mean for using stacked fabric. It would be good because your stacked fabric really doesn't come together anywhere in the block. However, it's not as dramatic as the stacks where the fabric meets itself.

I just use my regular rulers for stacked blocks and use the 45 or 60 degree mark on them. I really recommend Bethany Reynold's first book, "Magic Stack n Whack." I'm not sure what a 4 patch posie is, but if it's four squares put together, yes, I have done those. If it's four triangles put together, also, yes. I really like the look of the four triangles put together and they're really easy to do.

I'm loving this! I like that you post them one at a time. It makes it easy for me to go back in and find one that I want to see again. You are very inspiring. Keep 'em coming (one at a time)!

Thanks! That was the other reason I didn't like to post them together. If someone was going to use an idea for setting or whatever, it seems like it would be easier to find the quilt top on my list if they could just look for the name. Then again, maybe no one will use anything - who knows :)
