When I don't want to start a major project, I create quilt tops for charity. I know kids like color so I try to make them very colorful. I use remnants for centers and add sashing/borders from my stash. I then make crumb quilts from all my crumbs. Last month I took 20 tops to the meeting and this month I have 25 more. Then its a break to finish up some of my UFO's.
Here are some pics.

How wonderful of you to do this. It looks like you make so much more using every bit of fabric. Each child will surely treasure and be comforted by your efforts.

Busy you have been ... and what a huge warm ♥ you must have to be so generous!!

Think of all the HUGE smiles you have created for some special children.

Would you please show us some of your crumb quilts too? ... I'm intrigued and learning about them as I save crumbs ... and regret the many that have been pitched over time!
