Very cute! Baby's mother is sure to love them. Are they made of regular cotton or flannel? I saw some similar ones made of flannel, and they were very nice.

Any baby would count themselves very lucky to burp up on those!

Or have you put flannel or terry on the one side.
What size are they?

I'm thinking I just might make some for a couple of baby gifts! Thanks for the info and idea.

Actually, these are made by just using to flannel fat quarters and no batting or terry cloth at all. The middle fat quarter (or as the pattern calls it, the "theme" fabric) is a fat quarter folded in half with the other fat quarter sewed to it. It is my guess that one could use terry fabric instead of flannel but I haven't tried it yet. I did try regular cloth fabric but it doesn't do a great job at absorbing any liquid.

I've seen these made with diapers, never thought of using flannel. I think I'll make some only I'll double the fabric and have a front and back so they can be more absorbant. Thanks for the details.
