I bought the pattern and 2 fat quarters as a kit from one of my LQS shops ($6). This baby bib only takes 15 minutes to make and that includes all the pressing! I thought they turned out really cute.

They are cute. Are they bibs or burp cloths? I don't see how you attach them around the baby's neck.
very cute :)
Sorry, I had a typo! They are burp cloths. :)
Very very cute!
Very nice burp cloths!
Cute
So cute!! And way cuter than the ones I used when my kids were infants :D:D
very nice
Really cute burp cloths. I will have to try to make some of those. I ususally make them out of prefolded diapers and embroider on them. Thanks for the idea.
very cute!!
Cute!
Are they just two layers of cotton, with a thin batting between?
Or have you put flannel or terry on the one side.
What size are they?
I'm thinking I just might make some for a couple of baby gifts! Thanks for the info and idea.

It is my guess that one could use terry fabric instead of flannel but I haven't tried it yet. I did try regular cloth fabric but it doesn't do a great job at absorbing any liquid.
Perfect! Thanks for the details!Originally Posted by quiltinggirl
