I decided to try out the pattern today that is listed on the "links" page. It was fun to make. The main part took me about 1 1/2 hours and then to add the beads to the pins and make my own ribbon with matching fabric, took about 30 minutes. I still haven't figured out how I want to add a hanger, so for now it will sit in a bowl.

Thanks for looking!

I finished this one this morning.

I'm making some of those too. You did a great job and that's a good idea with the beads on the pins too.

I've got about four of them I can't figure out how to wrap up and attach a hanger on.

I'll snap some pics of mine.

I saw directions somewhere that the person put a paperclip in the ball, then went from there.
I've searched for that site, but can't find it.

I love the ornament. You did a wonderful job. I need to make some of these for christmas gifts. Looks like it would make a cute pin cushion for my sewing friends as well. Thanks for sharing.

I thought they were supposed to hang by a ribbon that you pin to it.
