Both of the tree skirts are gorgeous and it was so nice of you to give Heather the first skirt. Isn't it a wonderful feeling to give something you've made to someone you know really appreciates it and will cherish it? Sort of like giving yourself a Christmas present by giving something away.

The stained glass one is outstanding, but all your work is. Sure glad you got it out and finished it. Thanks so much for sharing. Puts me in a holiday mood!

when you put them under the tree could you post another picture? I think they are some of the prettiest skirts I have ever seen, thanks for posting.

Thank you ladies. I had to finish decorating the tree just so I could see the skirt lol. I will take a pic tomorrow. I am so glad I finished this skirt. I had used the other one for many years and now I have a new one lol.

I will try to find out where this pattern came from and will post the info. I think it's out of one of my books. It did give me a good feeling to give it to Heather as I know she will treasure it.

I recognize a few of the fabrics on these tree skirts. Makes me nostalgic for some of the richer looking fabrics from years ago. Soo tired of dreary civil war repro prints. Lovely work from you as always!! I look forward to seeing the pattern for this - have always loved stain glass technique in quilts!

Wow! Both are pretty. The first one I made two years ago, but I've never used it at all as I don't like the way it turned out. It isn't very pretty at a ll so I put it away. The second one is one of the best I've see nand it sure looks like a lot of work. Great job on both. Huggies, Fay

Both are really pretty tree skirts, but the stained glass is a work of art. Great job...
