A little more explanation might be needed. Some of us in the small group make the blocks and send them in to someone who sorts them and sends them to someone who volunteers to put a quilt together--the blocks are all the same size but can vary as they did in this quilt. No pattern--the maker just makes it up as to how she will put it together. Sometimes the sewer/assembler will make alternate blocks. It is a creative process and fun. A lot of service quilts are done like this with orphan blocks or donated blocks.
