Default quilted fleece shawl

It isn't cut out yet, it gets cut around the feather border on the outside and around the neck. I was playing with having the feathers go under and on top of each other seeing if I could get dimension. There was left over fleece so I did a scarf. Winter is coming and it gave me more practice on the over and under of the feathers. It will be cut off right outside those straight lines. This is more practice from lessons from the Craftsy.com class, Design It Quilt It.

I started at the bottom back and just designed as I went. I am on a longarm. I don't know if I would want to do fleece on a domestic machine. I didn't get to see what I had until I took it off the machine. That was fun.

Wow. Just Wow. Hope you made this for yourself--if not, Christmas is coming, and I could use an incredibly beautiful shawl!

How lovely. Is it just one layer of fleece? I took that very same class and enjoyed it very much. She is a good teacher. Lots of good practice too! And a good idea. Is it a rectangle or a triangle? I just love it and your quilting is beautiful.

It is two layers of fleece. The shape is an oval with an opening for the front and neck.

It is gorgeous. I have four more craftsy courses before that one. I hope mine comes out half as good!
